THE STORY
 

Located just minutes from historic Old Town Temecula, The Overlook was envisioned as the recreational centerpiece of the Altair community. Drawing inspiration from contemporary Spanish architecture, the design creates a welcoming destination that supports wellness, relaxation, and social connection.

The amenity-rich site is anchored by a 1,992-square-foot clubhouse featuring a fitness center, complemented by a 1,437-square-foot multipurpose building, and a 1,018-square-foot pool building with full locker room facilities. Together, these thoughtfully integrated amenities support Altair’s vision for an active and connected community providing residents with opportunities for recreation, gathering, and everyday engagement.

A key element of the design is the direct trail connection linking The Overlook to Main Street, the heart of Old Town Temecula, extending the resident experience beyond the recreation center and creating convenient access to the area’s dining, shopping, entertainment, and cultural destinations. Through its architecture, amenities, and pedestrian connectivity, The Overlook fosters a vibrant community lifestyle while strengthening residents’ connection to their surroundings.
